The frame features a Dark Earth KimPro finish, and the steel slide has a matte black finish to further minimize corrosion and prevent unwanted reflection in low light environments. An extended beavertail grip safety with a pronounced memory bump ensures a consistent high grip; and it protects the hammer when carrying the weapon cocked and locked, while minimizing hammer-bite to the web of the shooter’s hand while firing.
