The Ruger Precision MSR rifle stock incorporates an adjustable comb and length of pull that can be changed easily, but locks down tight for immobility during firing. The stock also has QD sling attachments and a Picatinny rail for monopod attachments. The rifle itself uses an AR-style buffer system, so AR rifle stocks can be used in the place of the Ruger stock.
Ruger Precision Rifle 2The rifle also uses the new Multi-Magazine interface, which functions with both side-latching magazines, like DPMS or MagPul, and front-latching magazines.
The upper receiver and one-piece bolt are CNC-machined from pre-hardened 4140 chrome-moly steel, and the lower receiver is CNC-machined from aerospace-grade 7075-T6 forged aluminum. The upper receiver also includes a 20-MOA Picatinny rail secured with four #8-40 screws for increased long-range elevation capabilities.
The Ruger Marksman Adjustable trigger is adjustable from 2.25 to 5.0 pounds. The hex wrench for the pull weight adjustment is stored in the bolt shroud, as is a bolt disassembly tool.
